Akhasheni red semi sweet wine is made from Saperavi grapes grown in the Akhasheni region of the country of Georgia. Because the grapes used to make this wine are harvested later than for most other wines made from Saperavi, this wine becomes naturally sweet.
With a balanced flavor and taste, this sweet wine is characterized by tones of black currant and cherry.
